Brake light circuit
ok my brake light has been out for about a month now...i've cleaned all the contacts and removed all oxidation...still doest work
is this a brake light circuit failure?
if so how do i replace this?

I didnt go for the link Komodo posted, but I am sure that the problem is in reley under the brake pedal. There is a DIY on how to fix it.
PS
I have the same problem now, so Ill go for that DIY.

And for those reading it is different in the convertible the switch is $22 and it is harder to get to. I had my mechanic replace it while it was in for some other stuff.

One brake light? two brake lights? three brake lights? Are they all out? Could be different things depending.

If you are talking about the switch on the brake pedal, there are two of them. If you have the checking OBC, it's a 4-wire, no OBC, 2-wire. The 2-wire is about half the price of the 4-wire.

OK its only one brake light and my OBC is saying brake light out... still not sure what the problem is

Check the "third" brakelight... everyone checks the sides never the center light. (that one seems to collect moisture also)
