Brake light circuit
ok my brake light has been out for about a month now...i've cleaned all the contacts and removed all oxidation...still doest work is this a brake light circuit failure? if so how do i replace this? |

I didnt go for the link Komodo posted, but I am sure that the problem is in reley under the brake pedal. There is a DIY on how to fix it. PS I have the same problem now, so Ill go for that DIY.

And for those reading it is different in the convertible the switch is $22 and it is harder to get to. I had my mechanic replace it while it was in for some other stuff. |

OK its only one brake light and my OBC is saying brake light out... still not sure what the problem is |

Check the "third" brakelight... everyone checks the sides never the center light. (that one seems to collect moisture also) |
