E36General discussion and technical help for (E36) 1992-1999 3 series cars. 318, 323, 325, 328.
If you want to lose people in the twisties, hate to sound like a parent but, Brakes + money for driving school would be more beneficial.
Brakes are good, new rotors, pads, and ss lines would be of big help, and with that left over money, you could invest in a driving school which would be much more beneficial then just new suspension. from the looks of your mod list, it looks like you may have already done one, but i dont know if you have or not.
but my suggestion is brakes +driving school. or 2xDrivingSchool = much more fun.
and honestly, no offence, assuming you havent done track time, its very likely for me to believe that you can actually push your car to the its absolute potential to the point where it might need new suspension.

i guess if you consider new pads and xdrilled rotors an 'upgrade' go for it, if it needs to be done as maintenence anyway, why not sped a couple extra bucks and go for the 1337 xdrilleds =O
This is more of a question between doing a brake job cause you need it or just saying fuck it an geting a new suspension.
To be honest with you... even if you keep the stock calipers you can still feel a noticeable difference... just immagine if when did the whole thang!!! I'm speaking from experience... stock rotors, you can feel them slide alot longer than aftermarker but I would say get the Xdrilled "&" slotted rotors along with Kevlar pads... and anything for safety is not a waste of money...
they are bigger so it is like a big brake kit. they will not be as good as a bbk from brembo but is much much much cheaper, and is better than the stock 328 brakes. i believe they are a little beefier than e36 m3 brakes. the good thing is that they are a direct bolt on to non m e36's whereas e36 m3 brakes require many additional parts to be put on a non m car. bigger brakes = better stopping power
I'll go ahead and say brakes. Twisties won't be much fun when you have a badass suspension setup but you cant push it cause you can't get back down to speed quickly enough.

driving school, guarrenteed, that if you do some track time(buy a helmet), you will walk out knowing that there is still lots of driving improvement required to really max the capability of your car, you'd be suprised how well stock suspension and brake systems do on the track.
id really suggest doing a driver school first. would you rather lose on a track with nice suspension to someone stock, or be stock and lose? id say its better to be stock..more excuses(hehe)
really though, driving school = so much better then susp and brakes.
