Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
If your car has had the original waterpump... change it guys... the plastic ones suck!
Dude, that's yours in the pic? OMG- you never changed it?! That's BMW 101 . . change the wp as soon as you buy the car!!! BTW, get the composite one, the metal ones aren't much better.

Only real trick you need to know to get it out is to use the 2 10mm bolts that you unscrew from the engine bracket and thermostat to push out the wp. Other then that, and getting the fan off, hopefully that you have a 32mm wrench its very easy to do.

Someone already has: http://www.pelicanparts.com/BMW/tech...water-pump.htm
But I think we should have our own writeup for the KB. I did mine last year, and it took me longer to put the new one on than remove the old one; it's a pretty tight fit with the new o-ring seal. Luckily (as mentioned on Top Gear) BMW pushed the engine back as far as they could, so there's a lot of room to work up front where the pump is . . so much easier than other cars.

yeah, e36s dont have the greatest cooling system...I saw my brother go through the same thing, so when I bought my car I made sure they had already replaced it.
