No. Your car is beautiful as is. My E46 is so damn low with the Dinan Stage 1 that in the front, the clearence is just about as thick as my hand. I scrape ALL the time. I'm surrounded by speed bumps and all of them are different hights. With traffic on the road, I have to come to a full stop, slowly reach the apex of the bump, then apply the brake to come easily down on the other side. With no traffic, I have to do a diagonal crossing.

You could go lower, but, it may effect ur habitual driving. However, should you chose to go lower, I would recommend spending the extra amount to get adjustable suspension components. I know that Koni has them. They have a dial on the top of the shocks/struts that allows you to adjust the height, just incase you come to another blockaide or a flooded area.

Just a PS, like everyone has said before, Rims would add that little bit of flavor. If you do get new ones, don't go crazy. I have the stock 16's on mine with 225/50 Perelli's (look at sig), and those fill quite nicely.

Might want to take a picture on a flat surface, from the looks of it.. your front tires are sitting in a lower surface than the rear ones...

Are you refering to me? If so, tommorrow I'll do that for comparison, as long as I don't freeze my ass of in the process.

Haha, Ok well, just for comparison:

The height right by the little crack in the flap is 2.25" (picture shows it slightly more due to distortion). Oh, and the white scratches are from daddy dearest.....(from another thread).

I wouldn't lower it any more. You won't notice any performance upgrade, unless you are tracking the car. As far as asthetics, it looks good as it is.

After a certain height, the suspension geometry changes in such a way that it actually starts to hurt the car's handling.

I wouldn't go any lower for performance.

^^now there's a pic. Good lord those are huge.

zeaq328i: there's no need to lower it any further. I wouldn't want to mess with the superb handling, the lower center of gravity just isn't worth it.

zeit00: I love looking at your car, it show me what mine would look like it it weren't a convertible.
