Thanks for the useful info! It will save me alot of money when i get my bimmer! Also how the hell does everyone get thier factory yellow turn signals to be so bright?!? Is it an LED or some different type of bulb?

I just wanna make a point that this headlight hack job isn't something you should consider, and you won't see a DIY from me. It looks nice from the outside, but when you open the hood, you can see the cut mark and silicone seal. Not pretty, and you can get some serious moisture collection if they're not resealed properly. And I don't recommend the LED halos- they'll be too dim for most, and you barely see them in daylight. I just did it because I don't give a shit

You mean the halos? They don't do anything as far as headlamp output; they don't make visibility any better or worse. And they don't block any light either, since they go around the outer edge of the fresnel.

I don't think anyone does anything special to them. Mine are not bright at all, having smoked corners. Point and shoot cameras usually don't meter them correctly, so they look brighter and hotter in pictures.
