S52 ODB1 swap

Has anyone done this? I have 90% of the parts needed, and wanted someones opinion. So far I have

S52
ODB1 wiring harness
413 DME
24 lbs injectors
540 HFM
M50 manifold
Turner chip (24lbs injectors, euroHFM, ltw flywheel, ews disabled)
ODB1 valve cover
S52 coolant pipe thingy (turner)

I was going to use the ODBII knock sensors and splice the coolant temp sensor as well. Plus I am getting new hoses, belts, tstat, waterpump, M3 master cylinder, slave cylinder, all new seals, M3 clutch.

I think that is it..

ask jrhaile, thats probably your best bet, he was gonna do it with an S52, but instead some idiot sold him an m52, but he still converted it to OBDI

Sounds great, but i think your going to have to reinforce the rear subframe to handle all that power.

It's not that much power.. But the entire rear of the car will be redone soon. So right now I am not worried about it. I am more concerned about the swap itself.

Yeah, Rob mentioned you gave up the 2.8 swap idea.

What was the story behind that? Find a better deal?

Yea.. Most M52s where $1500.. I got this S52 for $2300.. Now that I got a real job I can actually afford it! And of course everything else I got was 50-70% cheaper than usual.. =)

The only thing I am paying full price on is the chip.

Yeah, I've since moved to Athens. You should badge it 332i.

You haven't seen my new car yet either.
