Best way to drop weight?

Whats the best way I can drop some weight on my car while keeping the back seats. I have already taken out my spare and jack.

Have you done the small stuff like lightweight rims and lightweight flywheel?

A bit more costly, but a cf hood will give you some redux.

You can replace your glass panes with plexiglass.

Wait are you being serious? How would rolling down windows drop weight?

Edit: Oh I get it.. It drops the weight from the top to the bottom. Haha good one.

Yeah and on pimp my ride when they take out the back seats to install a huge sound system, but then put monitors on the back of the front headrests...

haha good point but what i was refering to was the AC compressor and all other parts included. the "roll your windows down" was in response to any possable bitching that it would b hot in the car without the AC. but i think i like your interpertation far better!

Its kind stupid to drop weight when the car is your everday car. If you want to seriously drop weight remove everything on your interior and everything in your trunk. Take it down to the paint. If those 20 lbs of a spare tire and jack are gona make you win a street race againt a honda and not get anything from it then go ahead. But when Im drving throuhg no mans land and get a flat and "WHoops my BMW road side assistance is outa date" I can change my own tire.

Oh yea take out your entire dash and center consol and get manual seats. THe power seats take up alota weight. And remve your sunroof casette and leave the glass in. Then go under the car and remove all the heat sheilds and plastic covers. Then remove your ac, power steering, washer fluid containers, and every piece of worthless plastic in your car. Then you can go a beat that honda!

if you don't mind a really noisy car you can take out all the sound deadening material. that stuff weighs heaps. but good luck selling a bmw with no deadening material in it.

saving weight is really only worth while if you are plannin on taking out LOTS of weight and by that i mean stripping the interior, carbon fibre body panels, getting rid of the unnecessary compononts like ac, power steering, stereo, etc. otherwise its just pointless

hahahah all i wanted to know if there were quick things to do to drop weight. I am not about to strip my interior or remove my a/c(even though it does drop alot). I took the tire out cuz it was poped and pointless, but thanks i think i am gonna get a carbon hood/trunk and paint over them(dont like that black look.
