if you don't mind a really noisy car you can take out all the sound deadening material. that stuff weighs heaps. but good luck selling a bmw with no deadening material in it.
saving weight is really only worth while if you are plannin on taking out LOTS of weight and by that i mean stripping the interior, carbon fibre body panels, getting rid of the unnecessary compononts like ac, power steering, stereo, etc. otherwise its just pointless

hahahah all i wanted to know if there were quick things to do to drop weight. I am not about to strip my interior or remove my a/c(even though it does drop alot). I took the tire out cuz it was poped and pointless, but thanks i think i am gonna get a carbon hood/trunk and paint over them(dont like that black look.

Removing the sound deadening material and CF hood/trunk is your best bet for a DD. You could ditch the rear seats when you take it to the track though.

when you say track do you mean a propper race track or the drags? taking weight out of a car for a propper circuit can actually make you have slower lap times. the car is mande a certain way and the weight is usually balalnced so the car handles at its optimal level.
example, on one of my track outings i took my spare wheel and jack and everything out of the boot. bad idea. this made hte back end really light and the fron comparatively very heavy. the car handled like absolute crap. chucked it all back in and the car sorted itself out and i chopped almost a sencond per lap off straight away just because the car was more settled through the corners. the corner speed more than made up for the straightline speed that i gained.
just something to think about

The sound insulation material inside your door panels is a lot of weight. That is your best bet for someone who thinks loosing a little pounds here and there makes a difference if you aren't tracking. Also speakers, headunits, cd changers, amps, and speaker wire are all excess if you want to start getting a bit more hardcore about it. Then look into removing the auxillary fan and case. Trunk lining and insulation, hood lining, and air conditioning.
Then if you start spending money look into a CF hood, CF trunk, CF panels (not your first LTW mods though), lighter cat back system exhaust, LTW flywheel, lighter battery (seriously), racing seats, and lighter rims.
If you are tracking try adn remove weight evenly betweent he front nad rear of the car. I know people who have removed 80 or so pounds from their cars but won't take out the spare and jack because it helps keep the balance of weight. Also if you live in a snow region keeping weight int he back will be to your advantage.
Good Luck
