I'll ask friends in the 'know' who they recommend around Pittsburgh. If I remember correctly there is a nice custom shop. Not sure how much you want to spend, but I think they do great work but are a bit pricey.
my drivers side seat is the worst of the pair, the passenger seat just has some slight cracking going on. but the drivers side really needs to be worked over. It may even be possible to repair. I'll have to take some pics to show you guys.

They can repair it. There's many products that they use to fill the hole/rip. You can even have them get brand new leather and put it on if you want... it'll cost though.
less worried about cost (see 31 has it's benefits) than end result. I have very little to do to have the vehicle completely restored to mint condition. Seats are the major issue.

It sounds to me like JMS doesn't care about the cost -- he wants it to be perfect. I think the best idea would be to buy new leather and have it wrapped around the old seat replacing the current leather that has holes. I don't remember where... but I'm pretty sure you can order the same leather BMW uses.

I would look, I know someone asked a few weeks ago, but it's blocked by Duquesne.
