mmmm Cosmos CAI V2
I like it, I've got a serious vibration problem now that I gotta fix up with some gasketing or duct tape because it is a snug fit down in the triangle...
So far it's very nice. It's almost like a debaffled stock air box from 800-4,000 RPM; above that it GRRROWWLS like crazy, so normal driving is not
I'm rather pleased, worth the $150. Installation was fairly easy, I had a pair of pliers and a 10mm wrench to undo some bolts. I did have to remove the welded bracket that holds one of the horns on, but that was no big deal, just bend it up and down and broke it off with metal fatigue. Done.
Pic's later, my engine bay is FILTHY...

Haha, should have done a DIY. I don't think we have one for a CAI yet.
Congrats though.

what? My version 1 growls from like 2500 rpm's up. Does the V2 go down as far? I had to relocate both of my horns.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the V2 is made from silicone right?

mine is nig rigged also, that bracket they gave me was crap IMO. Mine isn't touching the hood, its near my left headlight, and the other one is not too far from the radiator. Horns I mean.

What advantage might that give? aside from preventing the slim chance of hydrolocking.
