Pelican parts prices seem decent, with shipping maybe it's not worth it for you though.

And sorry I'm late on this, but Harry that sucks. Glad you guys weren't in the car though. Good luck with everything.

yea, all E36's have weak cooling componets. Very common failure part that just goes out on you out of nowhere..

Sorry to hear about your ride......i had a car that blew a water pump on me and when i seen your pics it was like a flashback.......smoke and coolant everywhere. Then i sold the car not to long after, didn't want to deal with problems later on down the road since it overheated so bad. Hope everything is ok.

If you haven't picked up a radiator yet, there is a group buy on bimmerforums.com. $129.

So yeah. I spent all evening talking to different people trying to work this out.

Looks like I'm (probably) getting an M3.

if he did a manual swap the 328 and m3 transmissions are the same, the engine is bigger but not necessarily better, m52's love boost, and a 328 can look exactly the same. he already has the bumper on the way, can get a bav auto rear difuser for 100 bucks, and some m3's have the same side skirts. unless you are getting a killer deal just stick with the 328

give us some info on the potential m3. pics too please.
