door handle pooped out

yeah so today i go to my car after work and my driver side door handle doesn't work. sweet. now i get to enter through the passenger side, till i get it fixed. hopefully it won't be too pricey of a fix? has this happened to anyone before?

I had one of my doors not lock before, had to lock it from the passenger side. Umm does the handle lift up at all?

Open it up and see. There's a rod that comes down from the handle to the actual door catch. It probably just popped out of the hole where it connects to the catch.

Since you have a coupe, it's a PITA.

Best thing to do is to take the door panel off and take a look around.

yup.

well kinda wierd but it just started working the next day... i think its just sticking er sometin so i lubed it up with some WD-40. and it seems to be doing fine...
