I don't understand why you don't just jack your car up like you are supposed to... the jack point under the side skirts...

That's where the jack pad goes slick. It's factory.

No the jacks go under the jack pads. Jack stands are usualy placed in different locations.

Hi there, this is actually my first post. New owner of a 2004 E46-Just got the SI2 done at the Stealer, I mean Dealer but they left my Jack Pads on! Is it ok to drive around with them on? Or will they eventually fall off? I'm in the process of replacing all of the tires (within a couple of weeks) so I'm thinking of just leaving them on so that the place where I'm having the tires done dont screw up my Body when they go to lift the car. (I'll show them where the Jack Pads are located beforehand) Also, if I do need to pop them off, how do I do this? -New owner aka ignorant :-)
