Rim suggestions

Guys, I know this topic is always beat like a dead horse, but I need to get new rims. Due to the fact that I have had 18" rims in the past and the fact that the potholes here in PA have destroyed them, I am looking to go 17" or even 16" but definitely want an upgrade over the stock 15" wheels. I found a set at tire rack that aren't bad, but I want some suggestions from you all in that size range. I will not go 18" again under any circumstance.

Help please?

I found these rims at tirerack for $199 each. With Avon tires it came to $1100. I dont want to spend much more than that.... here are the wheels I found that are decent, but I think I could do better...

ASA JH8 are 159 a piece a look nice. Kosei K1 Racing are only 199 a piece and look nice and are really light. Both of those are at tirerack.

thanks guys. I am leaning towards the ASA. The Kosei's are a little too track looking to me, plus I like a deep lip. If anyone else has some input, please share!

Anyone ever hear of someone charging you now for something you wont receive for 3 months? Tire rack wants to charge me the full amount now for a product I won't receive until April. How silly is that?

Go with 17s. Storamin is obsessed with the K1's so he always reocmmends them, I on the other hand give you the option of SSR Comps. www.tirerack.com is a great site. Look at wheels, get weights, get good deals. They ahve great prices. Id recommend 17s. If you're feeling extra saucy I recommend Fikse Wheels.

Sure, SSR Comps are fine... if you want to pay 400/wheel.

They go on sale from time to time. I think GT2's are on sale on tirerack right now but dont quote me on that. GT2's are also very light

thanks guys. the recommendations are very helpful.... I went to order the ASA JH8's which are, I think, ideal for me and what I am looking for, but tirerack is out of stock until April. So that sucked.

I cant find them anywhere else either...

keep the recommendations coming...
