E36General discussion and technical help for (E36) 1992-1999 3 series cars. 318, 323, 325, 328.
So my E36 got smacked last month by some stupid lady in a parking lot on the drivers side door. Not that big of of a deal, but I'm going to get around 2k for it
My car is seriously looking like SHIT and I'll have the money to do a FULL paint job on the sucker and finish off the "visuals" on it or................................................ .............
I'm boost happy now and I also have enough to get either a TSI Extreme Plus Kit w/a GT30R turbo I've wanted to Turbo my car for a while now and this is a golden opportunity to do it.
Pros of the Turbo: Mad powa, crazy fun and owning V8s like no other.
Cons: Don't REALLY need a Turbo, but it sure would be fun
Pros of the Paint job: The car seriously does need a paint job and some bodywork badly. It's been hit like crazy and there isn't a panel on the car that doesn't have something wrong with it.
Cons: It doesn't make a cool ass waaaaaapst! sound and make me go really fast.

i'd say go with the paint job, you already have a dinan turbo e30, two turboed bimmers? now that's just selfish, think of the rest of us, seriously though go with the paint job and body work
ohh...here is the rundown and I'll post pics of the entire body upclose this weekend.
- 1" Dent on the trunk caused by an out of control shopping cart in the wind
- Lots of metal-deep scratches on the trunk edge from sister not putting parking brake on and letting it roll through a FUCKING garage
- 2" dent on drivers side door from someone kicking it with a shoe
- Tons of scratches from being side swiped by my buddies mom on my drivers door
- 1" "knot" (dent) on the drivers side rear 1/4 panel caused by my buddies bike falling on it
- M3 bumper needs to be adjusted to fit right due to someone hitting my passenger side fender
- metal-deep 2" dent on the passenger fender (same cause as above)
- 1' dent and now rusting passenger door panel due to some woman hitting me
- 1 Million rocks chips
- Massive keying all over every door and my hood from someone jackass which I never found
no turbo, b/c just like the others said, you already got 1 turbo, do the paint job, let me explain further, you prolly outta have a car that can run forever, like until a TON of miles, and the turbo kinda takes that away. besides, it would be really cool to push as MUCH horsepower n/a

I'm about maxed out right now without a stroker kit.
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
..i voted turbo, but now that i think of it paint would be better. Make her look good before you turbo it.
