and then keep laughing as it kicks the shit out of your car. ever see a track car? they have different ride heights left to ride, front to rear, have beatup front bumpers, dented fenders... but it DRIVES like nothing else... that's what it's about, the drive.
Well the decision has been made: Stripped the car down this morning and took it to my bodyshop for paint. Within 3-4 weeks, my car will be better then new M3 rear spoiler will be going on along with M3 "twisty" skirts.
And while I was REALLY wanted to Turbo my car, I had wanted a paint job for it much longer. Besides, I want to do a 6spd swap before I turbo so I can boost up to 180mph

damn JR, never seen your car lookin so clean! heh.
nice choice on teh paint job man. I am actually really suprised you decided to do it so early in the year, thought you would wait till spring when the weather wasn't as harsh. But I can't wait to see what it looks like when it comes out!

Well I have the cash right now to do it, so I figured the longer I held onto it, the less chance of it actually getting painted. So I scheduled it and took it in early. I figure it'll be early February before I get it back and I'll probably only drive it when it's "nice" out as I have 2 other cars available to drive for a DD for the time being. I think I might throw my CSLs on early too since snow is unlikely now...
I think you will be very pleased that you decided to go with the paint. The turbo would have been nice, but you already have one turbo car to get your shits and giggles from.
By the way, how much power does your e30 actually make?
