How many hours do you think it should it take a shop to install it?

I would leave it there for 2 days just to be safe, depending on how busy they are.

Harry, where exactly is the oil leaking from and to? I am begining to think that I am leaking oil in the exact same place. and that the oil has coated my 02 sensor and is causing me to run rich.

It was a plug in the back of the oil filter housing. Assumingly they made the housing out of aluminum and the plug out of steel, and over time the plug wore the hole larger and larger until it created a leak. BMW has since admitted this problem and the replacement part is made out of a different material which should correct the issue and stop it from happening again.
