Brake Upgrade Part II

Well with this final upgrade that will wrap up STAGE I of my project car, and on to STAGE II.

I picked up 4 UUC Slotted rotors and UUC brake lines, Hawk Performance Brake Pads, and FDK.

Stage II starts in the Spring.

If you want performance just go with OEM blanks... save yourself the money. Remember to get new brake fluid.

Not pads. Just rotors. There's really no proven performance gains for higher quality rotors, plus ones like slotted or drilled go through your pads way faster (makes sense if you think about it).

Yah, ok, whatever. Since you know everything about brakes. Way to listen to somebody who actually *knows* something about the subject.

Go check out what most club racers use... oem blanks with racing pads. No where did I say to use the stock pads.

actually they do make a diff. it's not my first time with rotors like these... yes they eat thru the pads quicker but you'll notice the diff. in stopping dist. and power.
Here check this one out... my past project car...

and I loved it!!!

Holy crap...
How are aftermarket rotors going to stop you faster?
