The only reason I would buy cross drilled rotors would be if I didn't track my car. I do, so I won't buy them. I'll stick with what works for actual racing applications. Not what looks good on the street. Not what impresses the local band of fart can, large wing, and primired body kit car drivers.
You have to look at your cars application. If you intend of autocrossing there is little chance that you will heat up your brakes enough in one run to induce brake fade. If you intend on tracking your car you might need to upgrade to slotted rotors because repeated hard laps will cause stock (blanks) to overheat and fail.
So basiclly if u autoX ur car, if u let the brakes cool between runs you shouldnt have to worry bout brade fad on stock rotors (blanks)? Or will u still get brake fade say after maybe 10 runs, but letting the brakes kool down each time?
