Bmw 318 no brake lights.
 

I have had this car for about 6 months and apart from the prang within the first 6 weeks of ownership it has been great, until now...I have not got any brake lights, the fuel gauge doesn't work and the light buzzer wont buzz when I leave the lights on and the keys are not in the ignition. We have replaced the brake switch, put in new bulbs, changed the fuse, checked the housing of the bulbs and the wires in the boot that connect to the bulbs.

I have read through all 83 pages of the forum for ideas already, so, if anyone has any ideas where to go from here I would be REALLY grateful!!

You replaced the brake light switch under the dashboard? When you say checked the wires did you check the wiring loom that runs into the trunk, and not just the wires at the lights?
