Window bug.. - United Bimmer Community

I had my car battery disconnected for like an hour last weekend, and after i reconnected it the one touch feature for the windows was acting wierd..

It will go one touch down, but not one touch up anymore for some reason..

Ideas?

mine did that the first maybe 10 times then all of a sudden it started working again. This was a while ago when I first put in my headunit.

my 93 325i never had a one touch up.. your telling me it is supposed to be one touch down & up?

My '92 has both one touch up and down, so I assume your '93 is supposed to have up as well.

whether it has "one touch" or not, the procedure is the same.

Well it randomly started working again.. so yah..

And yes, mines a 93 and it has one touch up and down.

for some reason I can't see dudesky's whole post, so if this is what he said forgive me.

but holding 'down' on the window for 15 sec should reset the windows, and go from there.

It's run window all the way down, then all the way up and hold in up pos for 5secs. Do that to all and you should be set

Yea, all of a sudden, I can't see it either. This seems to happen all the time. Half the time my sig doesn't appear, like right now. Harry???

Only the small sigs are showing up. I'm sure Harry will give it a "frontal labotomy" and correct it.

Ah, my bad. It was something I forgot to turn back on after the upgrades yesterday. Should all be working now.

hi i have the same problem here and tried the reset and re initialisation but the driver side window still doesnt go all the way up

it stops a quarter of the way up then if i press the up botton again it stops 3/4ths of the way up then i have to keep my finger on the botton to get it all the way up. anyone know another solution to this?
