Considering selling my car! - United Bimmer Community

I'm considering returning my car to stock, (not difficult) and selling it at the end of this summer.

My plan is to use the car sale money plus the money from the next 1 & 1/2 years to purchase another bimmer as a college graduation present.

My car is a 92 325i w/ 151,080 on the clock.

What do you guys think?

Up to you, but am presonally not planning on selling my car anytime soon if I blow up my engine it will just be an excuse to getting a eurospec 3.2....

If you're not planning on keeping it, better sell it while it still has some decent book value. That's what I'm doing next year with my '92. Trading up to an E39

I'm just questioning about putting money into it because of the value of the car right now, I don't want to mod it and then lose the price of the mods in the sale.

Plus your 328 is quite a bit newer than mine.

1. I can handle the embarasement of the winter beater all year long.
2. The cars now are going from anywhere between 5500 and 4000. I'm looking right along the lower end. Between 4000 and 4500.

It includes everything (if you want) but the new SSR wheels. I'm keeping those.

I have no plans to sell it untill at least the summer.

I might take your Dinan CAI, but that depends on what you want for it.

And I think that's a great idea man. Might as well trade up while you can.
What are you looking to get? M car?

If I sell the car, I will deff sell the intake individually.
As for the car 99 m3 (If I can't get one, I'll ride a bike)

interesting, i sold the 92 in the sig for 35, it had a 93 engine w/56K and a 95 m3 tranny w/27K w/performance clutch, dinan chip, lowered, e46 17 rims, painted skirts.. etc etc, i guess i got jipped haha

I would agree that you should sell it if you want to sounds like you have a good plan for what to do with the money. Personally, I would consider doing the same with my car, but the value is so low its not really worth it and I would HAVE to sell it back to my dad(original owner), he loves this car and We want to keep it in the family as long as possible, i really hope to still have the thing when i die, but also when I get out of school and have some money I would like a new bimmer.

Put it back to stock and sell it. and sell the aftermarket stuff separate/save it. i know when i sell my car im doing the same. later

how much for the SSRs ? you said you're not selling them with the car... do you plan to keep them for your future m?

Yea I saw that Game the other night, tripple overtime, it was a sweet game but its too bad we had to loose. Watched it at a bar at school and just got hammered after.
