yes or no....

to fan delte mod ? I've heard some bad stories of overheating and I've heard people that have no problems whatsoever once the do the fan delete. I just ordered a kit from understeer but am debating on selling it. I'm leaning towards installing it since I can always just change the t-stats and switches and put the fan back on, but then I think why even go through all the trouble. I just want to know what everyone thinks about this and please post only if you have done the fan delete mod or know the situation of someone who has done it. Is it like a proven thing that if you do everything right there should be no overheating at all ? I read somewhere that the car "only" overheats if it's idling for a long time. I don't want any overheating. post away...

Wow, this issue has been beaten to death with a stick Take it from all us guys who have done it- it works, and there is no overheating problems whatsoever unless you do it wrong. Flush & bleed the system properly, use the Water Wetter, and make sure the rest of your cooling system is up to snuff. Then you will be good to go

Do it, personaly i would do it. Since u already oredered it youd end up losing money by seliing it. After the fan delete i say get underdrive pullies

With the pullies, you notice a good difference in torque and power. Your accelration is faster and and u feel the power qucker than stock.

Read those two threads and you should be up to date on the general opinion of the fan delete.
