LED taillights
I am considering purchasing some LED taillights. Does anyone on this forum have them? Are they any good? Any problems with OBC? Installation? Any help will be appreciated.

Well i was checking out AutoZone one day, and they have LED taillight bulbs. Not the entire houseing, they just replace the bulb. There much brighter and last longer, only problem is finding a bulb with the correct amperage or they wont work.
Well with the LED bulbs i was looking at, the guy said because the amperage is diff it may cause damage to the wiring or the control system itself. But if u can find one with same amperage youll be fine.
btw, the OBC will only give out a code if the voltage itself(i think) is different, and unless you cheap out, if you get good ones, the OBC should be fine. i know someone who cheaped out on LED corner lights and now they blink fast like a ricer.. haha

i agree they look good on the new cars, but I have not seen one set that I like for the e36, they are either too cheap, or they just don't flow. You honestly can't go wrong with clear euro's.

Thanks for the comments and the pictures. I actually do like the them when they are lit up. I am not so sure about the appearance when they are not on. I may go back to the blacked out or smoked ones in appearance. I have some smoked corners coming soon, we'll see how it goes. thanks again.
