Greetings

I bought a 1998 328i convertible last summer....great car but lots of little stuff goes wrong & I can't really affford a BMW repair.
My climate control was acting up but via this site I found that the problem was common. I have no electronic experience but followed instruction & it works like a charm.

Welcome to United Bimmer. Where in Canada are you?

Glad to hear this site was able to help you. I have a 98 328i as well. As long as you keep up on maintenance it is quite reliable. The oil changes are over double the cost of the ones on my truck though.

I find my E36 to be more reliable then my GMC. If something breaks dont leave it till something else breaks then it will seem like a way worse problem. The E36 is very DIY friendly with a simple set of tools. I recently purchased $500 worth of parts for mine and by installing it all myself i saved about $1,500 in labour at least.
