exactly. pay em in cash.

and xsperf I have talked to numerous people that have run straight pipes that don't smell like sulfur. I think track pipes would be a lot less popular if they made your ride stink.

whether you put in a track/straight pipe, or replace the cats, the rotten egg smell will go away with the old/bad cats.

yeah I know people running open headers without the sulfur smell. gasoline has so little sulfur in it that you can hardly smell it holding it up in your face. the sulfur that you smell with bad cat's is from the build up over the years that is clogging it getting pushed out.

a high flow cat is going to make your car loud too, rooz. keep that in mind.

I'm thinkin a track pipe or other resonator would be the best bet though. and pick up some o2 sensor sims so you don't trip a CEL. you'd deffinitely open up some top end power, but most likely lose a little low end torque from relieving all that back pressure.

edit: AA trackpipe-- video 1 video 2

so, you guys staying stick with my orginal idea of getting track pipes?

Now as I said I don't midn it at all if it gets louder, my only concern is that it might be TOO loud as in being annoyingly loud...

talk to harry about this. he has a track pipe. From what I have heard, it does not affect the sound of your exhaust that much, maybe a slight increase.
