E36General discussion and technical help for (E36) 1992-1999 3 series cars. 318, 323, 325, 328.
I am thinking about getting a new exhaust for my car over the summer. I'm leaninn toward the System U exhaust. Anyone have this exhaust? How does it sound? Is it overly loud? Was it easy to install.
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
It's louder but has a deep roar to it. Not all exhaust's are straight bolt-up. Might take some custom work to be done. Good luck. I have stromung and I love it. Wouldn't trade it for anything :P

i have the uuc TSE which is discontinued. the system u is louder than mine, and IMO i think mine is pretty loud. my neibors dont like it and my friends say its loud too. so if uget the system u, dont be supprised if it is too loud
I have had the system u on for about a year and a half, and it is very bueno. I like that it is loud, louder than anything else i have heard in fact, and it doesnt bother me on long drives. Install took me and some friends a couple of hours, mostly awkward from using a floor jack; not too much clearance to work under the car. The fitment is good, not perfect, and if you really spend an assload of time you could get it pretty close to perfect. The sound is bassy until around 2500, then up till 4000 it is more agressive and has more defined tone to it. Upwards of 4k, it has a very clean and loud scream.

I just put one on an M3 and I'll say that everything mounted correctly with no problems at all. Perfect fitment. It also sounds very nice. I think it sounds nicer than the Tri-flo...but thats my opinion. It is kinda loud but its not obnoxious.

the UUC is loud but not ricer loud. I have supersprint and its subtle but it sings after 4k along with my CAI. Id recomend you check out B&B, Dinan, and AA exhausts.
My dad has it for his car, its not that hard of an install, and sounds pretty sweet.
The link Shahab posted is a good one, We looked at that before we bought it
Although when we took it out on its first run, this old lady looked at us funny when we drove by.
