O2 Simulators

I'm currently running a Borla X-Pipe, so I don't have a catalytic convertor. I know AA Tuning sells the O2 Simulators for like $200 a pop, but I've talked to some people who've had good experiences at o2sim.com and they're only $30 shipped each, so I think I'm going to give them a try before dropping hundreds of dollars with AA. On their order form it asks if I want Single Output or Dual Output... what does that mean? Also I need two, correct?

Thanks.

get your borla pipes drilled and threaded and slap your O2's on there, that's what I plan to do on mine.

That won't do anything.... if there's no cats, the O2 sensors will report failure, as if the cat is dead, so you'll still fail emissions.... that's the point of the sensors- to test if your cat is working.

not really, I mean as far as I remember, our O2's are pre-cats...

Besides, I know my cats are bad yet O2's are good....

I have a SS track pipe, with an 02 sim (cost me like 8 bucks). No CEL, will pass emissions.

No cats does not = a fail. OBDII cars just link up instead of going under the sniffer.

True, but technically, the shop is supposed to lift up your car and look under it.
