Does your engine shake sometimes?

Well today mine did for like few seconds after a cold start. Why sometimes it shakes and sometimes it doesn’t, I mean after a cold start.

Yeah my car does that when its cold. I guess the engine is colder than normal so it pumps more gas in and the choke is doing something?

i think thats normal. mine has done that a few times. although i have s52 cams and that makes the idle a little rougher.

A lot of E36's have this issue, and it's not necessarily a problem. Sometimes the engine vibrates, and sometimes the car rocks from side to side. Mine does it too.
