what is this?

What is this, and is it supposed to be plugged in... in that thing...
can someone check their cars out about this....
not sure if this thing is supposed to be plugged into this tube... and if it is, if it should be loose, or fit in there tightly


this the is area of the car what we are talking about...

on the grey trim that you see folded down, there was this black circle thing.. it has a GAS symbol (like the gas station gas pump logo)

then there is a line attached to it...

and there is a ring thing at the end of the hose/wire/black string thing...

i am thinking that the thing in the picture above and connects to the black tube is supposed to plug into this..but am not sure...

Fix your images.

It's an override for the lock on the gas door. You pull it and the gas door will open.

Like if your battery dies or something and you don't have central locking, you can pull it and it'll open the door to get to your gas tank.
