It's all amatter of preference.

For what car will this be? I only like the HKS SSQ on certain cars because with certain cars you can make it do many noises including long releases, fluttering, and the typcial high pitched sound.

My favorite consistent soundign blow off valves for all cars are by the greddy brand. They are lower pitched and have a bit of a longer release sound.

I have heard a few subaru's with diff blow off valves and some of them are just too high pitched, as in annoying'y high pitched... maybe it's just a subaru deal, dunno....

this is what i have found so far im not sure if it will sounds diff with a bimmer since these are POS 4 bangers.

I have a GReddy Type RS Bov up for sale, $100 plus shipping. Never installed.
And it has a knob on the top you can turn to go from quiet to loud, or anywhere in between, so you can adjust it to the way you want it.
