Audio advice, help...

Total rook when it comes to car audio. Just got a great deal on a 1998 BMW 323i convertible, 150k miles on it, for $2k. I bought it From a friend 5 days ago. I love it but it needs some minor patch ups.

I'm not trying to spend a lot of money on it, I'd like to drive it a year maybe 2.

1) I need to replace the manual shift knob...how can I do this for Cheap?

2) The stereo is a mess. There are 10 speakers and a sub in the back. 3 or 4 of the speakers are blown, I believe the 2 tweeters in the front and one of the door speakers in the front are the ones that are blown. Also the radio/head unit cuts on and off when the volume gets too loud. I'm not big on CDs, I'd like for my car to jam, and I'd like to make it happen for around 300 possibly 400....But less would be even better. Any advice would be awesome. What would you do?

Thank You

The Shift nob is easy to replace. It just pops off. Their are prebiotic of good BMW shift nobs available.

As for the speakers I would visit Bavarian Soundworks as they have tons of great speaker options for good prices.
