7,555 is probably the real value or close to it. sorry. you always pay markup when you buy a used car. thats how the selling party makes money.

Take note that the stock airbox is higher and most aftermarket intakes drop the cone into the lower part of the bumper. For example my dinan cai is located slightly above my fog light level on the right side.

Don't look at PP value, you have to run it under "Suggested Retail Value". You might not get 13 for it, but if you are able to buy the car and part it out, you should make your money back. Sorry again.

Be careful though... if the water hasn't hurt anything yet by some chance, and you start the electrical system up while wet, it could cause a short and fry some things.

All of you are failing to realize that even a aftermarket intake is facing down on a bent pipe, which means even if the water was up to it, it would need to be 2 feet higher to get up the intake pipe and down into the engine.

Don't try to start it. Let it sit for a while.

yea i didnt even bother trying to start it, it has been towed to a family friend's shop up here where he will do everything he can to save it. as torque and harry said if the water did get into the engine i dont want to start it and seize it up . and as far as if water even made it into the engine im not sure because the water level was higher durring the night and the morning before so im hopeing for the best but fearing the worst!

So basically you have wet carpets and the electrics on the seat are wet.

Water won't hurt the engine if it isn't running and it doesn't get high enough to run into the intake manifold. About dash high---

Premature rust in the exaust, maybe. Water is one of the byproducts of combustion so it is usually wet inside on short drives anyway.

Wheel bearings needing replaced all around are a possibility.

Do the 3's have computers in the sills? If not then you can probably drive it away when the water goes down.

Check the dipstick first though.

One of the Roadfly 8 owners had water a bit deeper than that in his 8 in New Orleans. Replaced one of the computers in the sill and dried it out. He is now running around Houston in it, none the worse for wear

His 7 was another story--9 feet of water where it was.
