Carsoft test
Hi guys Ran today the second time my carsoft software and the report told me Module: DME 70 Klopfsensor 1 Please check the Knocksensor....... it does not tell me if it is the cam or crank sensor. Does anyone know? Thanks Wolf

On the E36 the camshaft sensor is more likely to fail then the crankshaft sensor.

Wasn't the Camsensor. The Engine has 2 Knock or ping sensors and "70 Klopfsensor 1" is the front sensor, "69 Klopfsensor 2" is the rear one what failed a day later, go figure....
