BMW Sunroof Delete

I'm GoF2 on Bf.c and I'm looking for the carbon sunroof filler. My sunroof is so jacked up I dont really want to deal with it anymore. There's just this one on ebay and riot racing makes one for like $325 shipped but there's gotta be a cheaper one out there! Anyone here know of another one?

Here's info on the Bf.c thread: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...62#post4987862

I'll paypal $5 to someone who finds me a better one

is the westcoastriot one a filler or a sunroof?

I know there is one for the e30 out there.. probably doesnt fit the e36 though.

after reading the westcoastriot site it just looks the its a stock replacement sunroof and not an actual filler...

I wish there were more of these out there, I want one!

probably be cheaper to have the panel custom made (after all, it's just a rectangle). and after you pull the sunroof with the motor and cassette, you can just rivet it in and seal 'er up with some silicon.

probably call around, find a badyshop or something that does composite/carbon work. there's got to be plenty of places in sacramento. but I dunno if it's going to be much cheaper for sure I don't know a whole lot about that kind of thing tbh.

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.

Could you just use a regular sunroof, and take out the motor and just weld the gears or raisers, not sure what it is, so the roof can't move?

You could try this place:
http://carbontrix.com/
They make a lot of carbon fiber pieces. I know it doesn't specifically say they do BMW pieces, but I found them through an article about a modded MINI so I'm sure they could figure it out. They're in Cali, too, but I don't know how close they are to you.
