Need help from manual trans owners
 

Those with manual 5spd- could someone check if the backup lights come on with the key in the 2nd position without the car running? My reverse lights don't work, and it's a bitch to see if they're on while in reverse. I guess I could wait till dark, but I'd like to get this taken care of now . . if I have to mess with the switch on the tranny, I'd rather do it during daylight. And yes, the bulbs are fine.

Yes mine come on while the key is on, cause i usually back my car in and it's on a downgrade so i usually leave it in reverse.
