WIth your messed up grills, I went to Maaco and they said it would only be about 30 bucks less to reapir the original nosepanel then to buy a new one, so when I get my car repainted im just going to get a 96+ nosepanel so it will be painted at no extra cost.

I want bumpers!!! actually i just want a car!. sweet dude. you should get a chase cam installed. chase cam footage is always amazing. its all about that angle and seeing the road from an inch away

NEVER go to maaco, they will fuck u over so bad. Also they totally suck when it comes to high quality jobs like BMW and shit. And all thats being replaced is the bumper, grilles and grille frames. And the hood has to be bent back a bit.

the M3 bumper is already low enough. i dont wanna have a $250+ camera violently removed from my bumper if i hit a pothole or something. Although i will get a chase cam vid of my friend in his cavi if i get enough requests for it.

How would Maaco mess up your paint? The paint job im getting isn't one where they stripping down the paint completely so it will still have a quality finish, and be as good as OEM paint. That is what a BMW mechanic told me also..

Yeah just make some videos, I have a few, and will probably make some more in a few weeks.

Maaco does a very poor quality job on their painting. in a year or two, it will start to deteriorate. it is the type of paint job you get if you plan to sell the car very soon.

95% of a paint job is the prep work, doesnt take to much skill to do it, but it can be very tedious and time consuming work.. the other 5% is the spray job, while this does not take much time at all, it requires huge amounts of skill and practice to make a good finish.

The dudes at maaco dont give a rats ass about the quality of your paint job, they will cut corners on the prep job causing cosmetic problems that might not surface for a year or two.. and the quality of the spray job may be low depending upon how much experience the maaco dude who sprays your car has.

onmy car the ENITRE hood had to be re-painted. When it was hit the paint chipped al the way down to the bare metal, meaning it has to be sanded down, re-primed and then re-painted.

who the fuck cares about a warranty from maaco? The place were im having my repeair done was recommended to me by the Southern Alberta BMW club, also recognized by Tunerworks were i got the bumper. So as long as the paint matches im fine.
