E36General discussion and technical help for (E36) 1992-1999 3 series cars. 318, 323, 325, 328.
nope, wont throw any rods, did you read the thing, it said each rod can stand up to 250 hp.. that means they can withstand 1500 horsepower! wow
yes I read, but unless I missed it, they never mentioned if that was a max load or a sustained load of 250HP. Over time the metal will stretch and weaken... eventually breaking. I am sure they engineered it for prolonged use, but it all comes down to weather or not the operator is treating the car with proper care. IE letting the engine cool down after a hard run and giving proper warm up time.

Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
why do people try to use this rediculously homo new lingo crap?
1000hp? pretty useless unless you put some wrinklewalls on it and a wheelie bar and just drag it...the 3 series is too small for that kind of power...but it sounds like tons of fun...i mean its the anus...or whatever
^^well some people (not in the US that is) are into doing runs from say 50mph up to 150 mph. I personally think it is way too much un-needed power. But still would be great fun to have as a toy. But for 22k it is a very expensive toy at that

with 1000hp itd be impossible to keep your car planted, itd be like that GSXr Gokart...
i think 500 is perfect...id almost just prefer 400 in an E36 M3 over anything else.
