E36 Clear Tails? Diamond Cut or Euro OEM style?

Okay, now..I getting started with my exterior mods:
First up is clear Euro tails...but I'm confused

I don't know where to look or what to choose...
I've been seeing two styles that I like on Ebay:

1. The slighly ricey but interestingly cool looking Altezza Euro diamond cuts $70 to $100:

2. The boring but probably better quality and more reliable white/red Euro OEM tails $40 - $100

I can't decide. I saw the Euro OEms on lots of members cars. Where did you guys buy yours from?
Also did anyone get diamond cuts that can post a picture of what it looks like on an actual E36 car and can recommend a good seller?

The boring one is nice for a BMW E36.

yea OEM is sweet. hows it boring? amber is boring.

the first ones aren't ridiculously ugly, it's your choice. I don't see why you call them altezza's (altezza lights usually have a clear lense with a series of smaller circular red lenses just like the toyota "altezza", whatever)...

I got option #2, and IMO they make the car look so much better, mine are a little shiny so they don't look dull or anything. I also have a hellrot car so that might play a part

I didn't mean boring...like that. I just think the plain white and red combination is sort of simple and clean...I was worried how it would look against my already red car...
but I plan on painting my trunk trim to match..and then I'll throw in the M3 diffuser and get a chrome pipe trim below...so I'll go with the plain white/red oem for now...
I got good feedback on them from ROOZ and you guys...
Thanks

Here is the ONLY picture I could find with an actual E36 that has the diamond cut clear style tail

hmm, the red lense is more of a stained glass red.. maybe it would look decent against a burgundy car. but I say that if you're not sure, OEM will always look nice.
