CF rear diffuser and more 56k NO good

Hehe, this is what we call "one mod leads to the next" lol

Since the exhaust sticks out so much, am thinking of getting one of these. PLus it would go VERY well with the "soon to come" UUC 3 way spoiler IMO...

And yes, these are the same people that make my wheels :wave

This all depends on how much the new hangers will move it...

But I still think this would go very well with the UUC spoiler.. what ya think?

IF the hangers help out a good bit, ocne am done with "power mods" I'll get the 3 way spoiler then later on this....

IF the hangers don't help, this will most likely be next mod!

Now I also like these... :D

And If I do eventually get the dash, I'll also get them to do the CENTER PART ONLY of my doors like this (the part where the handles are)

voca 09-13-2005 09:20 PM

the diffuser looks fine, but I don't care for the dash (too glossy).

Rooz 09-13-2005 09:23 PM

I'll be giving this a lot of thoughts and Am open to suggestions, however I think that I'll eventually get used to the looks of the new pipes.... not sure, we'll see

Longhairedhippy 09-13-2005 10:05 PM

i like CF, wherever it goes.

xsperf 09-13-2005 10:05 PM

no no no no, dont get the dash kit

oh and by the way, hows your front-wheel brake thing workin out?

Rooz 09-13-2005 10:09 PM

haven't done it yet bcs my mech keeps on pushing my cams back.... now he's telling me next week :(

Spieluhr 09-13-2005 10:31 PM

I love the diffuser, wsa thinking of getting one myself. ANd now that you show me carbon fiber, Ill be all over that like shit on velcro.

As for the dash, I think it looks like shit, totally goes against the OEM look.

Rooz 09-13-2005 10:40 PM

Well, here is the deal on it

So what do you think, I don't want to be paying this much for something that won't fit right... what can you suggest for me?

you can buy an m3 rear bumper :)

you can send us your bumper and we can test fit the diffuser and send both parts back to you upon completion

you can buy an m3 style rear diffuser (non cf of course) for a non ///m bumper from bavauto.com i believe

short of that, nothing else i can think of at the moment.

And keep in mind OCW's asking price on the rear diffuser is $499

voca 09-13-2005 10:40 PM

yes, the dash looks tacky. a bmw should be nice and luxurious inside and fast and sporty on the outside in my opinion. I don't really care for oc's car, but he does do sell some pretty nice wheels.

defkon99 09-13-2005 10:47 PM

diffuser is nicem dash seems like it kinda throws off everything inside unless u get more cf inside.

xsperf 09-13-2005 10:48 PM

WHAT?!?! 499? that freakin rediculous, id say screw that thing, get an m3 front bumper AND an m3 rear bumper and pay a fraction more(maybe even the same) and have a rear diffuser which came with m3 bumper, just not carbon fiber

Storamin 09-13-2005 11:24 PM

499 for that rear diffuser that you'll hardly ever notice is CF... no thanks. the bavauto one is much cheaper, and will actually fit.

B_w. 09-13-2005 11:52 PM

i think the difuser looks good, but to pull off the look you should get a carbon fiber lip or splitters.

Longhairedhippy 09-13-2005 11:57 PM

those CF dash parts are ugly. they don't actually replace anything, they just slip over and stick on. so, you'll always have a huge gap where the CF ends.
