E36General discussion and technical help for (E36) 1992-1999 3 series cars. 318, 323, 325, 328.
brien what do you mean the bumper....? I agree with you somewhat...that the striping and the ALPINA words shouldn't be there... but I like how the shape of the bumper works with the shape of the skirts and the rims...it's more aerodynamic and bolder looking that the M3 snouts!
and yes Komodo...I guess I'm old...at 26!
lol
Yo Voca, is that an american E36...the steering wheel is on our side!!!??
yeah brien...I just saw the video of the E46 HARTGE (400 HP V8 engine) vs. the E46 M3 (333 HP i6) vs. the E46 ALPINA B3 (280 HP i6)
And the M3 smoked em.
The Hartage was technically the fastest, but it was almost impossible to control and stabilize. The ALPINA had the most points for styling, suspension comfort, and handling was superb but it was the slowest and the suspension was said to be too soft. The M3 had everything...the best of both cars; style and power!
The Hartage was too much-like a Frankenstien E46....ugh! The M3 was awesome!!!!
but I'm an ALPINA man at heart that B3 sounded cleaner that it looked!!!

No, Coco, I was talking about the windshield wipers and the way the tires look from the front of the car....

i was just saying that i like the way e36 m3s are over alpina e36s
style(looks)
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
All though ALPINA is all that, please lose the wheels, they've been forever and a day. Much more smokin shit for BMW. Plus BMW's are almost twice as much up in Canada than US. So I can't even think about ALPINA or DINAN.
ha ha ha...
I never understood what DINAN is exactly...
DINAN seems to be less about bodywork and more about computer chips and air filters?
i think?
i'd like to research DINAN when I get time.
then you have HAMMANN which does body and exhaust
and HARTAGE which does frankenstien shit that i can even begin to comphrehend
next up is the classic M series BMWs which needs no explaination
and finally yo have the house of ALPINA...which deals in suspension, style, engine blocks and rims and bumpers and pinstrips to boot!
