you lucky ass bastard. with all this shitty weather coming our way with fall and all, I am getting really depressed, my car got so fricken dirty today after I just shined it up yesterday. I hate dirt. Something like M3 cams, m50 manifold and a UUC RSC would really chear me up. good luck with it dude.

Strokes your car to a 3.2 liter for m52's? I heard someone at a local dealership talking about an m50 and they said an m3 crank shaft strokes it to 3.0, so i'm just guessing. The guy didn't work there though.

^^ Correct, I think it's either a 2.95 or 3.02... The part is self is pretty cheap, local junkyard (not like if a crankshaft can go bad...) The labor is pretty intense on it though...

More intense than a new head gasket? My car has an oil leak, and there is only 1 more spot before it has to be the head gasket. The mechanic said it would take around 11-12 hrs to do if the leak is in the head gasket??

Sounds like a good mod to do.

A head gasket job would never take that much time!

Well, the RSC36 came in today at around 1:30 maybe (was here when I got home at 1:30)

Took it out of the huge box, yeah, the box was as tall as me, am 5"9.

INSTALL & LOOKS:
Drove it to the shop, got it on within like 50 minutes. Install was pretty easy, unfortunately my two rear hangers are busted, so I need new one, will worry about those when they get here... my guess is sometime next week I'll order them on Thursday.

As far as how hard install was, it was really easy, however, the tips are perfectly aligned. They are too far down and to the right. But it could be due to hangers so I have to wait for new hangers for that. It does stick out a LOT more than old exhaust (That means M rear diffuser )

It looks a crap load better for now, and will look great with the newer diffuser.

Here are some pics:

SOUND:

First time I started it up, my impression was:

WOW, is that my car or a Porsche GT3??

At idle it has a nice deep rumble to it, kind of like low bass, lol.

When driving like a "normal driver" it has a deep and loud throaty sound to it up to 3k-4k rpms, from there on it has a loud/raw/aggressive sound to it, very "powerful" sounding.

When driving like 90% of the members here aka racers... It has that same deed/loud/throaty sound to it, but it only goes up to 2k, from there on comes the loud/raw/aggressive sound to it, very "powerful" sound.

I really like how it sounds, and unlike what UUC said, it's not quiet at lower rpm's, AT ALL! lol. It does drone, but only up to 3.5k....

I had made two vids, but when I listened to them on the comp, they sounded like crap, and the guy that leaves next door to us was cutting his grass, so yeah... lol, am going to wait until he's done to make new ones.

Here is the new vid, I'll eventually post a driving vid from what it sounds inside...

Well some news:

I called UUC about the leak, they said I could either ship it back, OR get it priced to see how much it would cost, call them back, then get it fixed.

Am going to get it priced tomorrow, will probably have them do it Tuesday.

Now the leak is due to the fact that maybe 1/8 of the passenger side resonator isn't welded, so technically it will sound different/ how it's supposed to sound, once the leak is fixed.

My new hangers are coming Friday, so I'll do them either this weekend or let that guy do it...
