ok what you guys think?
k i took a look and the headliner shouldnt be too hard to remove/install so i was thinking should i install the new sunroof now reinstall everything then remove it again for speaker wires or wait til i get everything and do it all at once? what you guys think? where do you hide your wires? i dont think im hooking up my sub so it will be hu->wires->amp->wires->speakers... what type of wire to use?
^^Slightly longer route than down the middle, but I've seen it done. Through the headliner is definitely the longest way to the trunk. The idea is to have the shortest possible cable runs so you don't induce unnecessary noise and interference.

Dudesky are you saying that you've never seen wiring go down the door sills? My bad if i'm reading that wrong, but everyone I know with subs does it that way.
No, it's done all the time on others cars. What I meant was that it makes more sense to send the cable run down the middle of an E36 . . if you run through the sills, that means you have to send it through half the dashboard first just to get to the front footwells. If you go under the center console, then you're halfway towards the back already, and a much shorter cable run.
