Cosmos or Jet?

Here is the deal:

My new M3 front bumper is coming very soon. I have decided to paint the lower molded lip on is black.

And today I was sitting in our back yard and looking at my car and my brother's Cosmos black 528 was parked right next to it.

So it got me thinking... I have my roundel's BLUE part cosmos black and I really like the way the color goes with white.

So I thought maybe I should paint the bottom lip Cosmos black? And Why not paint my current E46 wide front grill Cosmos black as well? And since I am getting a CF 3way rear spoiler (painting the spoiler WHITE leaving the diffuser CF) why not paint that lower rear bumper lip Cosmos Black too? - since Cosmos Black goes better with Cf than Jet Black does -

So what do you guys think?

HUGE EDIT: read your first post wrong

whatever color you have originally on your car, i think that is jet black, use that, b/c if you have 2 different shades of black that would look weird

well, if I paint all that Cosmos Black, the only things that would remain "jet black" would be the moldings and door handles...

But I do see your point....

arent your moldigns and door handles flat black? b/c they arent shiny, right? unless you painted them

i have an idea, but you wont liek it

paint your moldings white(same color as car) and then paint all that stuff, like front spoiler, rear spoiler, diffuser, and lol possibly the rims black

Yeah, my molding are flat black, so I guess if I paint all that stuff Cosmos Black, there wouldn't be any other black on car.

And true I don't like that idea, lol. however, Later on (maybe when rims will need some intense care) I'll paint the rims Obsidian (a light Gunmetal)

IE:

And leave the lip stainless, but that's for later....

Heres what i would do:
-Leave the spolier CF (whole thing)
-Paint the lip cosmos black
-paint the grille cosmos black
-get a black or CF hood emblem
-paint all door trim and mouldings cosmos black to match.

Thats what i would do but its entirley up to you. If u paint the grille and lip its best to paint match the moldings, door handles and basicly all black trim. it would look pretty kool IMO but you may not have the money to paint all of it so its up to you. Also dont paint the spoiler white if ur gonna leave the adjustable part CF. If uve seen the pics from UUC its kinda obvious that all CF would look pretty good on a white car.
