Can someone tell me how this is possible? One side totally bad and the other side perfect?
I'm lost at the fact that I drove around with this since like last April or May...at least that is when I heard the sounds...it could've been like this since I bought the car last year June 2004.

Del, i just spoke to a friend of mine whos a welder. Il show her the pics of it just so she can she if its worth fixing or not. What she said to me was that if u were gonna put a re-enforcement plate over top the hole/cracks that eventualey that plate would just give as well, so right now ur kinda screwed
