Paint Molded lip?
Since my new bumper should be coming VERY soon hopefully within a week. I want to decide if I should paint the molded lip black or white...
Here is one with a black lip: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...e_Wizard-1.jpg I can't find one with the same color (ALPINE WHITE) But Deloriant has his painted red... http://www.bmwpride.net/images/Car%2...FrontLeft1.jpg |
Since your skirts are already white, a black lip would clash, IMO.
I voted white but since you're doing the whole PC black and white theme, black would look really good too.
I vote black. It'd stand out a bit more. With deloriant's car you almost have to look for a few seconds to realize he has a lip at all, imo.
Paint match it too. It's molded into the bumper on the aftermarket versions anyways...

i dont care what color you paint it(i voted white btw) but you are definetely getting black rims, just like that m3
black looks nice
you mean the molding strips...
i would say white... |
i think he means the lip on the bumper
If you look at the first bimmer, it's the lip that's between the splitters and the bumper it's self.
AM thinking black so far bcs I'll probably get a UUC spoiler and paint the actualy spoiler white and keep the tip black. Plus paniting the lip black would go very well with my all black and white theme :D And on a side note, how do you guys feel about that M motorsport Flag on that white M3? I'd like to have one on my car, but instead of the M colors, maybe 3 diff shades of black or 3 diff shades of white... |
Honestly, I'm not much on the flag. :dunno
Yeah, I can see why.... I mean if I had no idea what it meant, I wouldn't like it, and I guess besides BMW owners no one would know either....
I say black all the way :rock
First off I think the M motorsports banner on a white car is the hottest thing...
about the lip... black would look great if you get the spoiler and paint the lip on that black as well... otherwise white |
