Shift Knob and E-brake Lever
so I'm gonna buy the UUC RK2 shift knob and I'm now comtemplating on whether to purchase the matching E-brake lever. The lever is $5 more than the shift knob and I'm really not sure if it's worth throwing down another $80 just match. Anyone wanna help me out?
And does anyone have this lever? or have any other levers they'd recommend? Thanks

Well i dont know anything about the UUC knob, but eurostyle says its not a good buy...
as for your question on buying matching e-brake/shift knob... why not buy the shift knob this week and the ebrake next week? dont have to buy it all at once.... Personally i havent really done interior stuff yet... gotta finish the motor etc first

Now... as for the UUC shift knob, I don't know about that one.
yeh I agree I'd rather buy it all at once. I've never heard anything good or bad about UUC shift knobs but one bad comment is enough to make me not buy it
Anyone know of any other companies they'd recommend for shift knobs??

Hey Brandon,
I can't vouch for any of these other knobs, but you can check them out for your self, and decide if you like them.
www.m3motorworks.com carries knobs by AC Schnitzer, Hamann, M-motorworks, AA, and Rouge Engineering.
They also have matching e-brake levers for every knob except the Hamann one.
www.amimotorsports.com has about 300 different MOMO shift knob and e-brake choices. They also sell the matching boots, and (in some cases) adaptors that you will need to fit everything onto your car.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any thing else.

P.S. I think UUC is a good company. Their knob just happened to have a flaw in it. I will still be ordering parts from them in the future.

wow thanks for the links! I hadn't checked those sites out yet and I definately like the Rogue Engineering shift knob (looks exactly the same as the UUC, hopefully not as crappy) only prob is its $10 more. anyone know anything about the RE shift knobs?
I'm not really a fan of the Turner Motorsport knob, but it's your car. If you like it go for it. I would still prefer a MOMO knob, I think they are great quality.
I have a UUC knob, and maybe you guys got a bad batch or something. Although mine is showing some wear, the insert has held up well to heat. Covering it with a glasses case helps too. As for the e brake handle, i bought that too when i got the knob, and didnt like it. It stood out in a place where i didnt want it to.
