What do you mean by fit? I'm sure it would fit inside the cabin and or the trunk. They can probably be placed where the stock headlight assemblies go, but I am almost certain that they will never seamlessly blend into the front fascia of an e36 withou major work.

They look like theyd have a better chance of fitting on an E46 rather the E36. But in either case you would still have to do major modifications to the headlight frame and assembly for them to fit. Also if the wiring harness isnt the same theres probably no point to trying it cause to me it wouldnt seem worth the effort

They wont fit.
You could probably fab a bracket to mount them in their, but the hood and surrounding area will never line up. It would take alot of custom work to make them fit.

Nah, a bit of custom work but it's doable. With some work, I bet it would seamlessly meet up. I don't think it would flow well with the car when it's done, though.
You can always splice the wires... that's not overly difficult.

man if it's a lot of work that needs to put in it, then there's no point... now the question is, how about an e46 headlight??

E46 headlights will not bolt right in. X5 head lights defentaly wont fit in an E36. The mounting points are different.

You have to be fucking retarded to think that those could be installed on any car that theyre not meant for easily.
Sure you could wire them up and duct tape them in there, but short of modding the fenders, hood, kidneys surrounds, mounting brackets, etc, they will not flow with the body or line up with the other front end components.

yeah could some explain that...
You would have to do a lot of work to the nosepanel, and reshape part of the hood also I think.

not happening...unless you buy an X5 hood, bumper, front end sub frame and gut your radiator and fan, and everything else around your headlight sockets to make those monsters fit...
unless you are planning on installing them on the roof area infront of your sunroof...
glue them down and wire them to your cabin light switch...
no seriously...try an E46 xenon HL before getting the X5 monster
