E36General discussion and technical help for (E36) 1992-1999 3 series cars. 318, 323, 325, 328.
So I'm installing these things this week to replace our plastic E36 door pulls.
and I was thinking of painting this part to match the surrounding tan color of the door panel...so the chrome trim doesn't look too busy and to make it look cleaner...
any advice onwhat to use in terms of painting or dying the trim to a tan color?
^^ james died his leather pieces around the handle, not the handle peice itself. You could alwyas see if BMW has a touchup paint that would match the tan interior.
but the thing is del, youd better find the EXACT shade b/c if its a different shade its gunna look freakin retarded, ask if they can do paint matching with the dye or whatever your gunan use
