I saw these rims through a sponsor at werkz. Sadly if i get new rims now i wouldnt be able to afford tires till after the winter, but doesnt hurt to plan.
The 2 diff rims im looking at are the Veloctity Motoring VB-1 18x8.5" and the other is the Velocity Motoring 18" CSL style rims.
Velocity Motoring VB-1
Specs:
Size: 18x8.5 all around
Bolt Pattern: 5x120
Offset: +40mm
Center Bore: 72.60
Price: $600 USD
i like those rims, but what i dont like about them is that they are way too common, may i suggest that you powdercoat it black, and then keep the lip and that tiny piece after the spokes the same color ?

well i have never seen a CSL rim in person, but the VB-1 style is bascily the same as the BMW OEM style 42's i belive, those ive seen and liked, but never seen one in an 18"
As for the powder coating, ill consider it depending on cost and how it looks on my car. If anyone could PS it black that be kool.
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
DEATH 2000 follow in thy footsteps...and acquire thine yonder RONDEL Y spokes...and spend all thy days, nights and hours cleaning never ending brake dust from yonder spokes...
Look at my rims...I spend way too much time keeping them clean...
I can't even begin to imagin if they were 17 or 18 inches and staggered...
ouch!!
Why not just go with some nice used M3 rims? you could get a set with used tires that still have pretty good life in them for 600.
Theres some contours for sale with good tires on bf.c right now i beleive..
just a thought.
+ tires for 17's are cheaper than 18's.
The M3 Contours kick ass, only reason im not getting em is cause they dont come in 18"s.

Dont worry, i already know how much time it takes to clean my rims. Its worth it for pimpin rims.
I know it...
I love my rims...so many compliments and gazes from the ladies!
imagine all the ladies you would get if those were 18"s. uh huh, thats right. Plus the ladies love the Calypso red and Canyonrot Mettalic, there 2 sexy ass colors
17's are better than 18's performance wise.. ask anyone who tracks their car..
Also, i dont know where you live, but around here 18's would get destroyed in one day driving around town (bumps/potholes)
When i went to get one of my bottlecap's straigtened a while back, the guy who owned the rim shop said that there was a kid in the area with a BMW that comes to him at least once a month to get his 18's straightened.. that was the main killer for me..
Anyways, your choicE!1!!
ps. contours have to be the easiest rims on earth to clean.. come on, you kno you want em

the wheels you showed are cool. but the first ones are far too common. The CSL's are a really nice clean wheel, and they are staggered so that's a performance plus. But you beginning to see them more and more often these days.
